There are two ways to get involved with Mr Green Wellington right now, and you're welcome to look at both. This is genuine contract work, not a job with a full book of customers waiting on day one. We're growing the client base across Wellington, Porirua and the Hutt Valley, and looking for people who want to build that with us as the work comes in. Visit sites, price the job, trust your own eye.
You know what a clean actually takes. Most people who haven't done the work don't, and that's exactly the eye we want on our side.
We give you the software and a simple pricing guide. You visit the site, walk it properly, and set the price. No guessing, no second-guessing yourself once you've done a few.
It suits someone semi-retired or still working who wants a few flexible hours passing on what they know. Mostly daytime. No nights, no heavy lifting, no chasing clients.
This is contractor work, not an employee role.

Cleaning Contractor
Genuine contract work, building the Wellington client base with us as we grow.
If quoting isn't the whole picture for you, there's a second way in. Take on cleaning jobs across Wellington, Porirua and the Hutt Valley, on top of the quoting role above or instead of it, whichever suits how you want to spend your time.
This is purely contract work. Jobs go out as they come in, not a ready run of customers waiting for you from day one. What's on offer is the chance to get in early and grow the client base alongside us as Mr Green Wellington takes on more sites across the region.
You bring your own gear and a customer-first approach. You show up when you say you will, and you don't need hand-holding to get the job done properly.
This is independent contractor work, not employment.
Down the track, we'd like training and onboarding opportunities to open up for new contractors and franchisees coming through the business. Nothing's set up for that yet, though. The quoting role above is what's genuinely on offer today.

A real role. Full stop. Franchise ownership is something that can follow down the track for people who want it, but it isn't the ask today and it's never guaranteed. What's on this page is genuine work, starting now.
Is this employment?
No. Every role on this page is an independent contractor arrangement, not an employee position. You'll work under a standard contractor agreement, and you're responsible for your own tax as a contractor. We'll walk you through exactly what that means before you commit to anything.
Will there be a full list of customers waiting for me?
No, and we'd rather be upfront about that than have you find out later. This is purely contract work. Jobs go out as they come in, not as a ready run of customers from day one. What's on offer is the chance to get in early and build the Wellington client base with us as Mr Green Wellington grows.
What happens after I apply?
Someone will actually get back to you. We'll talk through your experience, your area, and what fits, then arrange a proper next step from there.
